Parents,

Welcome to the 2019 Simi High Softball season!

While the girls have already been practicing, we have begun crunch time behind the scenes. This year started off very different than our past years. We have welcomed a new Head Coach to our program, along with a couple new Coaches and some returning Coaches too! We usually start off our season in October, so this year will be quick with a few bumps along the way as we steer our way to our first game.

To start, we will have our Player & Parent meeting next week -

• Thursday, January 24th at 7:00pm in the Library at Simi High.

We will be introducing you to our Coaching Staff and Boosters. There is a lot of information that will be given out, so we will need both the player and a parent there. You will be purchasing your Spirit Pack, so please be prepared to pay with cash, check or credit card. All checks should be made payable to Simi Softball Booster Club. The Spirit Pack cost is $350 for New Players and $295 for Returning Players (if you have your Simi helmet). For any Returning Players that need a new helmet, please add $60 to your total. Every player needs a Spirit Pack.

We also will be collecting some "deposit checks" that will be returned to you once you fulfill your duties as discussed at the meeting. Some of our fundraising items (SMG tickets, Pancake Breakfast tickets, etc.), as well as your Snack Bar & Field Duty assignments, require a deposit check. We will also have some shirts and gear for your family and friends to purchase to help raise money for our program. While the deposit checks are ONLY checks, we do accept cash and all major credit cards to pay for the Spirit Pack and any extra items you purchase.
