Pioneer Family,

This is a long email with some important information:

Fundraising Money

Money for the Pancake Breakfast tickets are due on or before Monday, February 3rd. One of the Booster members will there collecting the money you sold, as well giving you your deposit check back! If you prefer to keep the cash you received from selling the tickets, please email boosters@pioneersoftball.org to let us know that it is okay to cash your check. We have more tickets if anyone would like to try to sell more!

The SMG tickets are due on or before Friday, February 28th. If you have sold your 25 tickets already, you may bring your money on Monday and we can exchange it for your deposit check. If you prefer to keep the cash, then please send us an email letting us know it is okay to cash your check. Money collections for the SMG ticket sales will occur every 2 weeks, or you can always send us an email at boosters@pioneersoftball.org and we can usually find a time to meet. There are plenty more tickets if you choose to sell more!

We depend on these funds to meet our budget so that we can provide the necessary items for our softball program.

Spirit Pack

It seems there is a bit of confusion, and we apologize. There are similar words that we use, but they are separate. The bags, jerseys & pants that your daughter already received were our GAME uniforms - and they are borrowed. They must be collected back at the end of our season. The Spirit Pack is our PRACTICE uniforms and a few GAME items that are kept by you - and they have not been handed out yet. Please know your payment of $300 or $410, that was collected at the Parent/Player Meeting in January includes the following: 3 practice shirts, 1 hoodie sweatshirt, 1 sweatpants, 2 game socks, 1 visor, 1 orange shirt & socks, and 1 pink shirt & socks. If you paid $410, you also will get a jacket and helmet. There is an option to add on custom embroidery to the jackets. We can add your name (or for Varsity members to add "Varsity" to the arm) for an additional $10. If you paid for this additional $10 at the Parent/Player Meeting, then you do not have to pay again... but it is an optional purchase if you choose to do so. We can accept cash, check or credit card for this additional fee. You can pay this fee on Monday, February 3rd.

Swag

There is an order form attached if you would like to purchase swag for yourself, friends or family members. They are not the same items that our players wear, these are custom ordered specifically for our fans! Since we will be playing games soon, please know that the first order was placed today, the next order will be placed on February 27th, and the final order will be placed on March 26th. You can pay by cash, check or credit card.

Banners

Please make sure you turn in all Banner orders and have them send over their artwork to boosters@pioneersoftball.org. They take about 3-5 days to make. Even if you or the company sends over artwork, I cannot have the banner created until we receive the payment for it. Keep selling - we can place as many orders as needed when they come in. Also know that we have 2 different banners - one is our Corporate Sponsor that is a large banner to be hung on our new home run fences, and our original banner request for businesses or personal that will be hung on the fences of all our fields. We also have a new opportunity just for our Seniors! You can purchase a custom banner that will be hung on our home fun fences! The cost is $100. All banner forms are available to download on our website at www.pioneersoftball.org.

Photos

We need photos! If you took any already, please send them to boosters@pioneersoftball.org. Also, during the season, we need as many photos as you can take - of each girl. We produce a DVD and include pictures of everyone, so please take some throughout the season. You can share a Google drive, One Drive, put them on a DVD or thumb drive, or email them to us :) The best photos are landscape and clear.

Website

Our website is www.pioneersoftball.org. There you will find information, emails, rosters, game schedules, photos, forms and flyers, information on our Manlet Tournament (currently being updated), and info on our Boosters. We have been working on our website, and not everything is uploaded yet, so please be patient. If you need anything, please just send over an email. We have digital copies of everything.

Financials

The Boosters are 100% transparent. Every item we purchase and all the money we collect is always tracked. Our Booster page on our website includes our Financial Update and our Meeting Minutes. We will update monthly as we hold our meetings.

Booster Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 5th at 7:00pm at Wendy's (on LA/Tapo Canyon). We invite you to attend a question and answer session from 7:00pm-7:45pm. Should have any questions, comments, concerns or just want clarification, please show up! In order for you to have the correct, most up-to-date information, we encourage you to get it straight from the Boosters.
