Parents,
Due to field conditions, we are unable to hold the regular try-outs as planned. However, all girls (not currently in a winter sport) will need to report to the softball fields for running & conditioning. Below are the info:
- S-Turn Softball fields @ 5005 E. Los Angeles Ave.
- Arrival at 2:30 for check-in and paperwork
- Wear workout attire with athletic shoes or running shoes
Please make sure the following items have been completed and turned in to Simi High Athletic Director PRIOR to arriving at the fields.
- ASB $65 Sticker required
- Physical Required - each player must submit physical from a doctor (can be uploaded to Athletic Clearance) but hard copy must be turned in to Athletic Director
- AthleticClearance.com electronic signatures for the following
- Concussion form
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest form
- SVUSD waiver
- CIF - Code of Ethics
- Optional - voluntary drug form
- Athletes must have a 3.0 - coach may require weekly progress reports if below and athlete may be put on probation
Our official try-outs have been rescheduled for next week - 1/16, 1/17 and 1/18 (weather permitting). More information will be sent soon.
